Negative Carbon Step

This collection explores a new chemical industry development with potential applications in footwear. It consists of six footwear pieces that incorporate carbon-negative materials from Evonik’s Reticus Project. While the material is still in early stages of development, it shows strong potential for future use in sustainable sole production. Inspired by Evonik’s website, color story, and commitment to circularity, the designs feature textured soles and slides made from Reticus-derived plastics. The color palette reinterprets Evonik’s tones with a patina effect, symbolizing the fading world of carbon emissions.
